Visual Roof Evaluations: Various Military Bases (Since 1992)

RCS personnel have extensive experience performing comprehensive visual roof condition assessments and non-destructive roof moisture surveys for Department of the Navy facilities located throughout the continental United States and at installations worldwide.

Through a Joint Venture with John B. Maddux, RCS provided Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) services for Specialized Roof Inspections and Analysis for U.S. Navy installations worldwide. Under this contract, we conducted both visual inspections and non-destructive roof evaluations of Naval shore facilities across the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, Iceland, and the Caribbean.

In addition, RCS has participated with other professional firms in numerous multi-facility condition assessment programs, which included the identification and documentation of maintenance, repair, and performance deficiencies across large portfolios of facilities. These efforts required detailed analysis, coordination with installation personnel, and the development of accurate cost estimates and long-term capital planning strategies.

To date, RCS estimates that it has inspected more than two hundred fifty million (250,000,000) square feet of roofing systems across more than ten thousand (10,000) buildings. These assessments included the preparation of repair and replacement cost estimates, as well as the development of long-term maintenance and capital improvement plans to support informed decision-making and budget planning.
