In April 2003, we were requested to perform visual inspections and non-destructive roof moisture surveys on all facilities owned by Fannie Mae located in Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia.
We completed investigations covering six buildings and approximately 291,680 square feet of roof area. Detailed written reports were provided, along with AutoCAD roof plans identifying locations of moisture entrapment and deficient conditions observed during the inspections.
Since these initial investigations, we have continued to provide roof replacement design and construction management services on numerous projects. Our ongoing work has also included semi-annual roof inspections and, more recently, building envelope investigations.
We are currently preparing construction documents for several building envelope and roof repair projects scheduled for completion over the next 10–12 months, and we recently completed a window washer roof anchor installation project.
