In Dec of 2002, we contracted with Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc., to perform roof condition evaluations on 193 Compass Bank Facilities located in the Southeastern and Southwestern United States. All roof inspections were completed in a four (4) month (Jan 02 – April 02) time frame. We used two (2) crews that traveled between projects within a geographic location and performed all of the required field work. The crew leaders would then send hand written reports, field drawings and digital images on disk to our office for development of RSDM database reports
to be developed and sent to the client.
With the RSDM database, we were able to generate customized spreadsheet reports illustrating estimated roof system repair and replacement cost that would be required to maintain the buildings in a watertight condition. Since the completion of the initial visual investigations, we have provided roof replacement design services on several facilities located in Texas & Colorado and quality control inspection services for a large project in Birmingham, AL. We anticipate that we will continue to provide additional design and quality control inspection services in the future as projects develop and also perform additional condition evaluations as the existing roof systems continue to age.
