Visual Roof Evaluations: Various Military Bases (Since 2008)

RCS personnel have extensive experience performing comprehensive visual roof condition evaluations and non-destructive roof moisture surveys on numerous Department of the Navy facilities across the continental United States and worldwide.

Since 1992, we have provided these specialized services to U.S. Navy installations, conducting both visual inspections and non-destructive evaluations of Naval shore facilities throughout the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, Iceland, and the Caribbean. In addition, RCS has collaborated with other firms on numerous multi-facility condition assessments, identifying maintenance needs, repair deficiencies, and long-term performance concerns.

To date, it is estimated that RCS has inspected more than two hundred fifty million (250,000,000) square feet of roofing systems on over ten thousand (10,000) buildings. These efforts have included the preparation of detailed cost estimates and the development of long-term plans for roof system repair, maintenance, and replacement, supporting effective budgeting and facility management decisions.

Our programs are carefully developed and tailored to extend the service life of roof systems while minimizing long-term costs associated with repairs, maintenance, and full roof system replacement.

In 2008, RCS completed numerous roof inspections as a subcontractor to TEC, Inc., located in Charlottesville, VA. These inspections were conducted as part of the FCAP program using the Builder Program.
